Another year, another endeavor to be a new, healthier
self. But it's possible that my negative attitude about my small home gym stems
from a lack of proper illumination.
Poorly illuminated home gyms are often devoid of
vitality. A bright place with enough of light is typically more enticing for
exercise and can be critical in establishing the ideal setting for a strenuous
or intense workout.
Natural light from windows and skylights is the finest
source of lighting for a home gym. If natural light is scarce or non-existent
in your home gym, consider employing LED lighting that mimics sunshine. This
entails employing bulbs with a high color temperature more than 4500 Kelvin,
which simulates daylight.
Aside from being a suitable alternative for natural
lighting, the correct LED lighting may also give a nice and equal light
distribution across your home gym. A sufficient number of well-placed LED light
fixtures can help to reduce any significant "hot spots" of light or
brilliant "point sources" of light. This, in turn, can help you focus
on your workout without being distracted by the lights.
Lowering the light levels in your home gym may be
appropriate for certain exercises that demand less energy. Yoga, cool down
times, sauna sessions, whirlpool baths, and massages are examples of these
activities. Lavior Deep Light can let you manage the brightness of your home gym's
lighting. If your LED lighting does not include special dimming ballasts, you
may wish to arrange it such that some of the LED fixtures are controlled by one
on/off switch and the rest by a second on/off switch. This is known as "dual
switching," and it is a pretty simple approach to replicate the dimming
process.
